Thomas (Tom) B. Campbell is Chief Operating Officer at Redwire. In this role, Tom is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies to promote a culture of safety, operational excellence and on-time delivery. Tom oversees all operations analysis, contracts, training and recruiting, integration, facilities and policy personnel.
Prior to being named Chief Operating Officer, Tom was Executive Vice President of Deployable Solutions at Redwire, where he led all operations in Redwire’s Deployable Solutions business unit, focused on delivering mission-critical solar arrays, antennas, and custom deployable structures to civil, commercial, and defense customers.
Before Redwire’s acquisition of Made In Space, Tom held a variety of increasingly responsible leadership roles at Made In Space, Made In Space Europe, and Oakman Aerospace.
Prior to this, Tom was general manager of Space Antennas and Structures for L3Harris’ Space and Airborne Systems segment. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of a multi-customer, multi-technology space antennas business area, including business strategy, new business pursuits, program execution, and customer relationships. Tom also held other leadership roles at L3 Harris, including Director of Innovation, Space Antennas business development manager, engineering manager, and project leader and mechanical designer of precision deployable space structures.
Tom serves as a board member to Applied Kilovolts and is a council member for the Florida High Tech Corridor. He has served on the AIA Engineering Management Council and the Florida State Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
