Slava Frayter is a senior space and satellite industry executive with more than 24 years of global leadership experience spanning spacecraft manufacturing, space situational awareness (SSA), satellite communications, and defense markets. He currently serves as CEO of GomSpace North America, where he drives the company’s regional expansion, commercial strategy, and customer programs across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Before joining GomSpace, Slava was Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales at Kayhan Space, a leading provider of automated SSA and space traffic coordination software and services. In this role, he helped accelerate industry adoption of AI-driven collision avoidance and operational safety tools for government and commercial satellite operators. Prior to his work in SSA, Slava spent more than a decade in satellite communications, including serving as Vice President for North America at Gilat Satellite Networks and holding multiple senior leadership positions at Newtec, including CEO and VP Americas, where he led major growth initiatives, large-scale technology deployments, and strategic partnerships with global operators and defense organizations.
