Sara A. Jones is a strategic leader, investor and advisor focused on the future of Aerospace and National Security. Currently, Ms. Jones is an Investor at In-Q-Tel, a global investment platform that accelerates the introduction of groundbreaking technologies to enhance the security and prosperity of the U.S. and its allies. Formerly, she was Sr. Director of Venture Investing for Honeywell Aerospace, and SVP at New Vista Capital, an investment firm focused on emerging technologies in Aerospace and Defense. Prior, her 15+ year career in corporate strategy, innovation, and management consulting included driving key innovation initiatives at Boeing as Innovation Director at Boeing HorizonX and leading the development of Boeing Commercial Airplane’s 2050 Vision. As a management consultant, she also created high ROI-generating business and customer strategies for Fortune 100 companies, including Microsoft, T-Mobile, and Nordstrom. Ms. Jones holds an M.B.A. from University of Michigan and a B.A. in Political Science from New York University.
