Ghonhee Lee is Chief Executive Officer of Katalyst Space Technologies. Katalyst is defense technology company focused on dynamic space operations, founded in May of 2020. Katalyst builds robotic spacecraft, modular payloads, and software applications for space domain awareness and command and control. Prior to Katalyst, Ghonhee started his career at Raytheon Missile Systems as a Guidance Navigation and Control engineer on DoD programs working with US Navy, Missile Defense Agency, and SCO stakeholders. Ghonhee served as the inaugural Industry Chair for the NASA Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC) in 2024-2025. He is listed as an inventor on several granted US patents on robotics, space domain awareness, and space systems. Ghonhee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Astronautics. Selected speaking engagements, publications, and patents:
