Rendezvous Robotics: Building the Future of Space Infrastructure

Rendezvous Robotics builds the autonomous systems required to construct a permanent presence beyond Earth. While rocket launch has become a reliable utility, the industry remains limited by “folding and cramming” complex hardware into narrow fairings. Rendezvous eliminates these constraints by launching autonomous, flat-packed tiles that self-assemble into massive, functional infrastructure once in orbit. Based in Golden, Colorado, the company’s patented tile technology enables the deployment of large-scale power, communications, and defense systems that are no longer restricted by the diameter of a rocket.

Scalable, Autonomous, and Reconfigurable: The company’s core innovation, TESSERAE, utilizes swarm robotics and electromagnetic docking to redefine orbital architecture that enables:

– Infinite Scalability: Move beyond the limits of stowage to build massive structures, from phased-array antennas to space-based data centers, at a scale previously impossible.

– Autonomous Assembly: Peer-to-peer docking removes the need for human intervention or complex robotic arms, allowing for high-cadence construction.

– Dynamic Infrastructure: Modular systems that can reconfigure, self-heal, or upgrade in real-time, shifting space assets from fixed and fragile to adaptive and resilient.

Led by veterans from SpaceX, Blue Origin, Lockheed Martin, and Nokia, Rendezvous is currently executing its third mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in mid-2026. Simultaneously, the team is preparing for the launch of their next-generation tiles in late 2026, the first free-flight autonomous assembly mission in history.
